What does a tube sanding machine do?
Tube sanding and polishing machines do three main jobs on stainless steel and other metal tubes: mirror polishing, deburring and surface cleaning. They can be used on straight and bent tubes.
The orbital system sands the full 360° circumference of the tube without rotating the part. Sanding speed is adjustable to reach the required surface roughness, and a variable-speed feed system pulls the tube through the units at a constant speed.

The BP 110 and BP 110-5 handle Ø10–Ø110 mm tubes, and the BP 150 handles Ø25–Ø150 mm.
Which model suits series production?
The BP 110-5 combines five sanding units in one line and is controlled from a PLC touchscreen; it does progressive sanding in a single pass.
How is a tube sanded without rotating it?
The orbital system moves the abrasive around the tube and processes 360°; there is no need to rotate the tube.
