Every woodworking project is different. Famak wood sanding machines are configured for the product by changing the machine width, belt length, unit types and contact drums.
We build standard and custom models for calibrating, fine sanding, lacquer sanding and veneer sanding. They are used on solid wood, natural timber, MDF and plywood.

Calibrating is stock removal with a steel drum to even out the panel thickness. Sanding smooths the surface, usually with a rubber drum, combi or piano units. On Famak machines these units can be combined in one machine.
Standard widths are 650, 1100, 1350, 1600 and 2220 mm; other sizes are built on request.
These surfaces are processed with flexible brush sanding machines such as the 1000 FZ and 1350 FZ; the brushes work the surface without damaging the details.
