About the machine
The 1600 KP.KP.KR is a high-capacity machine developed for calibrating and precision sanding of wide wood panels. With 2 × 22 kW main motors and a 1600 mm working width, it is suited to series production.
Different units can be added to our wood machines to suit the customer: the steel drum for calibrating, the rubber drum for standard sanding. PLC-controlled piano pressure pads sand without damaging the veneer even on undulations up to 2 mm, and sensors record the part size to prevent the veneer from being sanded through at the edges.
