When is long belt sanding used?
Long belt sanding machines are used for sanding and satin finishing large surfaces such as big panels, doors and long metal parts. A long belt cools better and lasts longer.
On the manual model, the operator sets the pressure and working area with the pad; on automatic models the machine moves the pad, giving repeatable surface quality. The gantry-type DYZ 14600 – 2B processes parts up to 22 metres long.

What is the difference between manual and automatic long belt machines?
On the manual model the operator applies the pressure; on the automatic model the machine moves the pad, so surface quality no longer depends on the operator.
What is the longest part that can be processed?
The DYZ 14600 – 2B processes parts up to 22 metres long with a 4500 × 22000 mm working area.
Can a long belt machine also polish?
Yes. On the DYZ 14600 – 2B, a cotton-wheel polishing unit can be used alongside the sanding unit.
