Sanding and polishing of wide metal sheets with three drum units and one Scotch-Brite unit.
About the machine
The 1600 R.R.R.S. was designed for high-capacity sanding and finishing of metal sheets up to 1600 mm wide. Three roll (drum) units working in sequence sand progressively, and the fourth Scotch-Brite unit gives the surface a uniform satin and polished finish.
Each drum unit has a 37 kW motor, motor brake and inverter-controlled variable cutting speed. On the Scotch-Brite unit, thickness and pressure are set via PLC; different Scotch-Brite rolls can be fitted on request.
